Hey y’all,
Lots of happy news to share, including the fact that starting Monday (tomorrow!) I will officially be blogging and writing full-time. It has been a long-time dream to make Dixie Caviar the authority on all things Southern, and with a little encouragement from my “fan club” I finally have the chance to make that happen. Food and recipes will remain the backbone of the site, but I’m hoping to branch out with additional columns featuring entertaining tips, travel guides, expert interviews, and more.
On a side note, I spent the weekend doing a little housekeeping around the blog. Look for more exciting updates in the future, but in the meantime I hope you like what you see. Please be patient as I get in the swing of things; I will indeed be wearing many new hats. Just keep coming back, leaving your sweet comments, and continuing to support me as I make Dixie Caviar the best that it can be!
XOXO,
Nealey

Super big congratulations to you!! Love the blog already and can’t wait to read what you’ve got in store!
Hooray! Congrats Nealey – I cannot wait to see whats in store!
Congratulations! So, what I’m understanding is that Dixie Caviar is going to be more-super-awesome-wonderful…cause it was already super-awesome-wonderful
Also, I’m loving the family photo!
Shawn, isn’t the “portrait” great? My former employer had our family photograph turned into water-colored paper dolls!! They now have prime real estate on a little easel in our living room. Walt says they are the finest piece of art we own!
Congrats! What a big leap of faith, but one that I hope is all the sweeter! (The site looks amazing, btw!)
Thank so much for your support, Jes! It’s a GIANT leap of faith, but most good things in life are worth the jump
Yeah, Nealey! Congrats on it all. The new site, the new writing venture and a long overdue best wishes on the engagement! Soak it up. So excited to see everything you’re cooking up on Dixie Caviar. xoox
Thanks so much, Dana. I may be coming to you for freelancing advice; I am lurking in scary new waters!
