P.S. I had a leftover layer of the cake (long story), so in my attempt not to waste, we made "Texas Parfaits" for dessert last night. A layer of crumbled chocolate cake, topped with a layer of creamy chocolate sauce, more cake and more sauce, and -- to guild the Lily -- finished off with homemade whipped cream. Oh.My.Goodness.
